- A large portion of our budget is pledged to financial support for various organizations locally and worldwide.
Parish social life: St. Christopher's provides many opportunities for the social life of the parish and is an important part of the way we carry out our mission. Total Ministry Parish: We believe with the ancient church that at our baptism Grace was given to each of us to enable us to minister both to each other in the church and also to the world. This ministry of the baptized happens whether we are clergy or lay persons. In Nevada we call the supporting and encouraging of this ministry of the baptized - Total Ministry.
The strengths of our parish come from our sense of family, from our working together, from our supporting our young people, and from our providing outreach gifts to the larger community. We are dedicated to total ministry development for all. Our church is a place and a people who are called to act on our faith and to do good for others.Vestry: The vestry is the governing body of the Church. Click here for all about the Vestry.
Youth: Members of all ages are integrated into the life and worship of the church.
